Un subt\u00edtol \u00e9s un text que apareix a la part inferior d’una imatge, aportant informaci\u00f3 addicional sobre la mateixa o traduint una narraci\u00f3 o di\u00e0leg condu\u00eft en un idioma estranger.<\/p>\n
Hi ha una eterna pol\u00e8mica sobre que \u00e9s millor i que \u00e9s pitjor, si el doblatge o la subtitulaci\u00f3. B\u00e9, aqu\u00ed pensem que dep\u00e8n de cada cas espec\u00edfic, de com vulguem transmetre la informaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n
A favor dels subt\u00edtols es troba el fet que aix\u00ed es respecta la locuci\u00f3 original de l’actor \/ orador i es permet que tamb\u00e9 les persones amb discapacitat auditiva tinguin acc\u00e9s a tota la informaci\u00f3. En contra, evidentment, la invasi\u00f3 de l’espai gr\u00e0fic en pantalla i la conseq\u00fcent desviaci\u00f3 de l’atenci\u00f3 prestada a les imatges.<\/p>\n
Subtitular un v\u00eddeo no consisteix simplement en la traducci\u00f3 del mateix. El traductor ha de sintetitzar, adaptar o suprimir molts elements ret\u00f2rics connaturals a la parla: marcadors de discurs, titubejos, accents de tipus regional o social, localismes i dialectalismes o ironia pr\u00f2pies d’un personatge, circumlocucions intencionades, el\u00b7lipsi, omissions, etc\u00e8tera.<\/p>\n

En funci\u00f3 de la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula i l’abund\u00e0ncia del text, la minva en el subtitulat pot arribar a ser de fins a un 75% de les paraules, que no del missatge. Precisament en aix\u00f2 consisteix la tasca principal de l’expert en la subtitulaci\u00f3, aconseguir transmetre el missatge reduint notablement les paraules necess\u00e0ries per expressar-lo.<\/p>\n

M\u00e8tode del subtitulat<\/h2>\n

El m\u00e8tode per a subtitular podria dividir-se en tres parts:<\/p>\n
\n- En primer lloc s’eliminen pleonasmes, redund\u00e0ncies, titubejos, interjeccions i tot tipus d’elements superflus que no modifiquin en absolut el sentit del missatge; en tot cas la seva eliminaci\u00f3 pot minvar parcialment el mat\u00eds del missatge (el seu car\u00e0cter emf\u00e0tic, ir\u00f2nic, col\u00b7loquial …).<\/li>\n
- En segon lloc, se suprimeixen i s’abreugen parts de les oracions que es puguin sobreentendre perqu\u00e8 l’espectador disposa d’una informaci\u00f3 visual o contextual que supleix aquesta car\u00e8ncia.<\/li>\n
- Finalment, i en \u00faltim extrem, s’incideix en el nucli mateix de l’oraci\u00f3: aqu\u00ed pot ser necessari variar la conjugaci\u00f3 verbal i ubicaci\u00f3 del verb, la sintaxi de la frase, incloure vocables m\u00e9s breus amb el mateix significat o similar, i ometre predicats o subjectes per a ser substitu\u00efts per breus refer\u00e8ncies directes en tercera persona a conceptes o persones que apareixen en pantalla, entre d’altres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
